Institutionalizing comprehensive abortion care

For years, safe abortion care in Ghana depended on individual trained providers rather than the health system itself — leaving access uneven from one facility to the next. AYA is working with Ghana Health Service to make comprehensive abortion care a standard institutional service across all public facilities, aligning provider training, data systems, supply chain and policy so the care outlasts any single project.
