With funds from<\/span> Cambe<\/span>r<\/span> Collective, AYA in partnership with Marie Stopes International and Ghana Health Service implemented the Pericoital on-demand LNG 1.5mg study to gather real-life data on the acceptability and use of LNG 1.5mg. AYA Collective\u2019s responsibilities encompassed the implementation and development of all monitoring and evaluation activities and stakeholder engagement related to the study in Ghana as well as the development of the data capture application for use in the Kenya arm of the study.<\/span><\/strong><\/h3> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

With financial support from a private donor, AYA Collective, in partnership with Pathfinder International, Engender Health, Marie Stopes International, and Delivery Associates, is supporting the Ministry of Health in Burkina Faso in implementing a program to increase access to family planning and comprehensive abortion care services across the country. AYA Collective\u2019s role includes technical support for institutionalizing \u201cvalues clarification,\u201d advocacy, and health management information systems. This support encompasses the design and deployment of a transactional service data recording system for recording and reporting services via a dashboard.<\/h3> <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n <\/div>\n\n \n

The Child Investment Fund Foundation committed to sponsoring the implementation of a four-year collaborative project in Ghana to reduce and address challenges related to preventable maternal and neonatal mortality; the project started in September 2021. The implementing partners are Kybele, PATH, AYA Collective, the African Population and Health Research Center (APHRC), and the University of Manitoba. On this project, AYA leads the routine monitoring of the project and partners with APHRC and the University of Manitoba for the project evaluation. AYA\u2019s responsibilities include the development of transactional data capture of service data for all maternity services as well as the development of an indicator dashboard to provide feedback and assist in project management, the conduct and analysis of the baseline\/mid-line and end-line evaluation.<\/h3>

With financial support from a private donor, Ghana Health Service is institutionalizing comprehensive abortion care into routine services nationwide for over three years. Embedded within the Family Health Division, AYA Collective is providing technical assistance in system strengthening, which includes the design and operationalization of sustainable systems and structures across all levels of the service delivery system.
