I am a highly motivated public health professional with over 30 years of practice and with external experience spanning several countries.
In the past, I worked in the Premier Teaching hospital in Ghana and also served as the health policy Advisor to the Royal Netherlands Embassy before joining an International NGO as their Country Director for 14 years. I am a team player, and an effective communicator, and have had over 10 years as a host on several Radio programs on SHRH focussing on the youth.
I am co-founder of AYA Collective and serve as a Vice President of this unique NGO using my skills in advocacy to enhance our work in different areas of our operation. I have had training in research skills at the Research triangle , Raleigh NC which has helped my work with our NGO.
Currently, I am also an Associate Professor at the Lindon School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine as one of the key Module Organisers on Sexual and Reproductive Health.
I also have the unique ability to work with people on varying levels; work well under pressure, and meet deadlines.
I am involved in the development of Occupational Standards for Trichology (study of Skin and Scalp). I bring along this rich versatility into the work of AYA Collective.
