Albert is the Finance and Administration Director for AYA Collective. He oversees the organization’s overall financial
responsibilities including financial planning and strategies. His roles and responsibilities include assessing the
financial performance of the organization, analyzing performance and risks, retaining constant awareness of the
organization’s financial position, overseeing the organization’s finance and budgeting, overseeing audits and internal
control processes, overseeing financial reporting to donors and partners, and setting targets and supervising
administration, finance and accounting personnel.
Albert’s level of experience spans sixteen years (16) within both the local and international NGO Sector. He started
his working career in 2004 as the General Manager for Wadoma Royale Hotel, a three-star hotel in Kumasi Ghana.
In 2009 he joined Willows International an NGO working with other partners on the Reducing Maternal Mortality and
Morbidity (R3M) Program which was funded by the Buffet Foundation as Assistant Accountant and rose through the ranks
to become the Finance and Administration Manager in 2015, a position he held till the program ended March 2020.
At Willows International, Albert was member of the management team. He was recognized for inspiring other management
team members and subordinates to excel. He encouraged a creative work environment which positively impacted on overall
morale and productivity. Together with the program team they successfully opened three (3) project offices which
recruited about 60 staff and 300 field based volunteers, who visited homes and provided information to about 180,000
women between the ages 15-45 and referred them to health facilities to receive reproductive health services.
Albert holds a Bachelor Degree in Commerce from the University of Cape Coast and Masters in Business Administration
(Finance) from the University of Ghana.
